Waqf (Arabic for endowment) is a special kind of philanthropic deed in perpetuity. It involves donating a fixed asset which can produce a financial return or provide a benefit.
The revenue or benefit generated then serves specific categories of beneficiaries. Muslims giving waqf typically donate a building, land or cash with no intention of reclaiming the value gained from them.
إذا مات ابن آدم انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية ،أو علم ينتفع به، أو ولد صالح يدعو له
When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).
[Sahih Muslim]

Our Projects

Khadijah Transit Home
Our aspiration is to establish Khadijah Transit Home at Plaza RAH Kg Baru Kuala Lumpur for families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment. We are currently already fundraising for a second condominium and we aim to purchase five units estimated at around RM2.5 million.
UPDATE 07/08/2023:
1st Unit Purchase - RM 475,000

Gerobok Rezeki
Kasih Khadijah is a community initiative by KIWF that brings together education and compassion by supporting underprivileged students through essential aid. The programme provides KASIH Khadijah dry food baskets, each valued at RM150, to 1,000 underprivileged students across 10 selected locations in Hulu Langat, Selangor, and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.
More than just food assistance, Kasih Khadijah serves as a platform to share the sustenance we have been blessed with, strengthening our presence in the community as one rooted in empathy, generosity, and care.
Together, we can support students and uplift communities—one family at a time.

RekaRia Meta Makerspace
Waqf RekaRia Makerspace was created to address the growing education gap faced by children from underprivileged communities. As access to quality, future-ready learning becomes increasingly unequal, many children are left without opportunities to explore science, technology, and innovation.
This initiative bridges waqf and STEM education, establishing Waqf RekaRia Makerspace as our first waqf intellectual property asset—and likely the first of its kind in Malaysia. RekaRia Makerspace is a collaborative, play-based learning centre equipped with construction kits, electronics, and robotics, enabling children to learn STEM through hands-on exploration and real-world problem solving.
Join us in empowering young minds—because no child should be left behind.
